Bullying and Harassment Prevention Plan

Before School Teacher Workshop
Review current laws and school policies with teachers related to bullying and harassment. Emphasis is on the definition of bullying or harassment, how to intervene and support students being bullied or harassed, and reporting procedures of bullying or harassing behaviors.

First Student Day Assembly
Review with students the definition of bullying and harassment and how they can report these behaviors (verbally, written, or anonymously). Describe ways that they can stand up to bullying and harassment and support students being bullied or harassed.

Put bullying and harassment prevention messages on the Digital Bulletin Board (DBB), the Facebook page, and website. Includes written messages, videos, and announcements.

Included in the student handbook a section that explains the bullying and harassment laws and school policies including the expectations and consequences for students.

MMHS will participate in Unity Day.
